Hearing Instrument Specialist

Steve Freeman is a Hearing Instrument Specialist with a degree in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Steve is originally from Puyallup, Washington and moved to Bozeman, Montana in 2012. Steve attended Spokane Falls Community College and began his career working at Rocky Mountain Hearing Aid in 2009. What Steve loves most about saving hearing lives is helping improve patients’ hearing and quality of life. Steve strives to help patients hear as well as they can in his everyday work with patients. Outside of saving hearing lives, Steve loves hobbies such as fly fishing, camping and hunting.

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Heather Ray graduated from college in 2010 with a Business Degree. In her quest to find a more meaningful career she returned to school to earn a degree in Hearing Instrument Science. She and her family moved from Washington to Montana for her to pursue a career as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Heather specializes in Complete Audiometric Evaluations along with hearing aid selection and fittings. She enjoys helping the people of her community enhance their lives and reconnect with family/friends through improved communication.

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Eric Sivanish graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education. Soon after, Eric returned to college to pursue a degree in Hearing Instrument Science, which he received in 2010. He chose to change professions to better provide for his family. Eric and his family moved from Spokane Washington to the beautiful Flathead Valley to work with Rocky Mountain Hearing Aid. In 2022, Eric and his family relocated to Helena Montana to be near his family. He enjoys playing a crucial role for those on the journey to better hearing and advocating for all who struggle with untreated hearing loss.

Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist

Travis Freeman has enjoyed serving the hearing health needs of Montana since 1994. He believes that proper and successful hearing health comes from listening to his patient’s wants and needs. By doing this, he is able to move his patients into the best device selection. Working with several manufacturers over the years has brought him to the dedication of his hearing practice to Audibel, an American owned and operated manufacturer based out of Minnesota. Travis resides in Flathead Valley with his wife and three children.

Patient Services Coordinator

Emily Smitheram is a Patient Services Coordinator. Emily is originally from Zionsville, Indiana and moved to Missoula, Montana in 2023. Emily attended Indiana University and started working at Rocky Mountain Hearing Aid in 2025. Emily began working in the hearing industry in 2025 and was drawn to the profession because she is passionate about human connection and helping others have happy and healthy lives.

What Emily loves most about saving hearing lives is helping make the day-to-day comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. Emily strives/focuses/works on/etc. to learn and grow in her everyday work with patients.

Outside of saving hearing lives, Emily loves hobbies such as going on hikes and identifying native vegetation and attending live music shows.
